Tony Fenton’s BBQ Birthday Bash on the Balcony!

1st September 2009

The Tony Fenton Show on Today FM turns five years old this September and they’ll be celebrating in style with a BBQ on the Balcony of Marconi House, broadcast live to the nation on 18th September from 2.30pm-4.30pm.

Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club will be offering their services as the ‘house band’ for this exclusive party and they’ll be joined by special guests including traditional multi-instrumentalist Sharon Shannon, Meteor Award-winner Cathy Davey and Dublin singer Carol Keogh, a part-time Mudbug who has lent her dulcet tones to many bands down the years including The Plague Monkeys, The Tycho Brahe, and Autamata.

This will be Tony’s third BBQ from the breathtaking Today FM balcony, with previous performances from Lisa Hannigan, Mick Flannery, Republic of Loose and Fred.  This VIP invite-only bash will be video streamed live on www.todayfm.com so all our listeners can feel like they’re part of the celebrations.

The event is sponsored by Bud Ice Cold, which will be on hand in bountiful supply, with nosh provided by Town Bar and Grill.
