BG Radio First-to-Air on MTV

BG Radio advertises its annual music awards for the first time on MTV.
For the first time a Bulgarian media event will be promoted throughout Europe.
BG Radio “Bulgarian music only” will promote its 5th annual music awards on MTV Europe.
“ This campaign is an invaluable investment in terms of the image of Bulgaria, not only that of BG Radio” says Nikolai Ianchovichin, General Manager of BG Radio. “We play only Bulgarian music, support our artists and love Bulgaria”, he adds. “That’s why our message “Bulgaria sounds better than ever” is a message that will surely make us feel proud being Bulgarian”.
The ad campaign “BG Radio’s annual music awards” was launched on MTV on March 20th. The unique element of the campaign (6 times daily), is that it is in Bulgarian, with English subtitles.
The Fifth annual BG Radio’s music awards will take place on March 26th. The ceremony will be broadcast live on Channel 1 of the Bulgarian National Television, as well as live on BG Radio. The event will once again present a world-class show, including live performances from leading Bulgarian pop and rock artists.
BG Radio’s annual music awards are the only awards in Bulgaria, that are voted by the listeners, as opposed to a music academy or panel of music journalists.
