Speaking today, Elaine Geraghty, Chief Executive of Newstalk 106-108 fm, said: “Newstalk has continued to grow since its launch as a national station in 2006 but breaking the half a million listeners is an important landmark for everyone at the station and offers great value for advertisers. Growth across all prime time shows is a significant achievement and The Right Hook breaking the 100,000 listener’s milestone demonstrates the strength of Newstalk’s drive-time offering.
Early indications from this book show that recent schedule changes are also being received well by listeners, including the new morning show presented by Tom Dunne and Orla Barry’s move to present Weekend Blend."
