Brace yourself for a Culture Shock!

Newstalk 106-108 fm’s premier arts and culture show, Culture Shock, is back this Saturday, the 14th March.
Renowned travel writer and DJ, Fionn Davenport, returns as host of Culture Shock, Newstalk 106-108 fm’s weekly critical guide to music, film, art and everything cultural.
Davenport says he’s delighted to be back in the hot seat, “Our aim is to make a good programme even better. Culture Shock will continue to provide lively and frank debate on what's going on in popular culture, arts and entertainment, but we want to have fun too, and hear some decent music along the way.”
Culture Shock will continue to preview the best of the week’s releases in our Movies Slot, and you’ll still get an exclusive peek at the Sunday papers in The Lay of The Land.
The programme also returns with some new features;
· ‘Web Watch’ highlights the best bits of news from the weird and wonderful world of the net.
· ‘Global Snapshot’ analyses the cultural events of a chosen country each month.
· ‘That’s Not News!’ looks at the fluffiest, quirkiest and downright silly stories that manage to make the headlines.
· Each month, an Irish personality gets the chance to have a ‘Barstool Rant’ – if there’s something bothering them, you’ll hear about it.
