Irish Pops Stars Support The 98FM Toll Trolls for Christmas No.1

9th November 2007

The hilarious 98FM Toll Trolls, M & 50, have their sights set on a No.1 album this Christmas and with a little help from Ireland’s pop expert the terrible two might just get there! The crazy breakfast duo, M and 50, released their third hit album, “Toll Trolls 3”, this morning with a little help from their famous pals; the legend that is Johnny Logan, You’re a Star presenter Brian Ormonde and Eurovision star, Mickey Joe Harte who all arrived at the 98FM Thunder Bus at St. Stephen’s Green this morning to celebrate the release of the Toll Trolls album with the 98FM Morning Crew, Dermot, Dave and Siobhan.

Johnny Logan admitted that he was a huge fan and listens to the 98FM Toll Trolls on his iPod when he’s on tour. Brian Ormonde says the Toll Trolls will go straight to number. Brian gave the 98FM Morning Crew a little You’re a Star exclusive and said pop diva Michelle Heaton might be returning to the show after dramatically walking off the show last week after a bust up with fellow judge Brendan O’Connor. Brian said;

The comedy duo has already reached number 2 in the Irish album charts with their previous CDs, which have contributed an amazing €170,000 for the Make a Wish Foundation. As a very special treat this year the 98FM Toll Trolls are also releasing a special three album box set! The “Totally Out of Your Box Set” contains the top ten selling hit albums Toll Trolls 1, Toll Trolls 2 and, you’ve guessed it, Toll Trolls 3!

Excited by the new Toll Trolls’ “Totally Out of Your Box Set”, M & 50 said “This is so exciting! 3 albums in one! And even if you hate them, when they’re wrapped up, they’ll look and feel like a really expensive Christmas present.”

Toll Trolls 3 and the Toll Trolls’ “Totally Out of Your Box Set” will be out from Friday November 9th at all good record stores!

To celebrate the launch of the CD. The 98FM Morning Crew with Dermot, Dave and Siobhan spent the morning fielding calls from the Toll Troll’s famous pals who called in to the show to wish them luck. Music mogul Louis Walsh called the show and even offered to manage the comedic duo. Funny woman Maeve O’Higgins and veteran musician Christy Dignam called to wish them the best of luck!

Tune into the Toll Trolls with The 98FM Morning Crew, Dermot, Dave and Siobhan, weekday mornings 6am – 10am.

(Ends)
