98fm ‘Proud to be a Dub’ Golf Classic

The 98FM Morning crew, fellow Dubs and sporting heroes; Super Bantamweight Champion, Bernard Dunne, and former Olympic gold medallist, Michael Carruth along with special guests from the Dublin football team, who were celebrating their victory over Laois, were all at Hollystown Golf Club on Monday 16th July competing in the 98FM ‘Proud to be a Dub’ Golf Classic.
The 98FM Morning Crew held on air competitions for listeners to win a place on a team headed up by the presenters Dermot Whelan, Dave Moore and Siobhan O'Connor to battle it out against celebrity teams and other 98FM listeners, who formed individual teams, on the golf course. The event was organised by 98FM, Dublin’s best music mix, and Hollystown Golf Club to support the Dubs and all monies raised went towards the Dublin Footballers Fund. Other celebrity golfers on the day included, TV stars Brian Ormonde and David Mitchell, and singer Red Hurley.
