Radio Elmar is 10!!!

Editor-in-chief’s addressing :-)
Dear friends,
THANK YOU VERY MUCH,
to all those who remembered radio ELMAR on its birthday! Our editorial office was full of flowers and presents; and we’ll be able to read the beautiful postcards and e-cards for the months to come! Also, we have eaten far too much of the cakes, pies, tarts, salad, sauerkraut, oranges, sweets, chocolate you brought us... and got fat already before Christmas. :-) Lines such as „... it’s so good that you’re there“can often be read on Elmar’s home page, and that’s the way it is – we are there because you are there and this is very good indeed!
The jubilee festivities are over by now and it’s time to step into Christmas! This jubilee birthday will always remain very special for us! Quite unbelievable things were done – for example a week of song request program in a row or finding out who is the most beloved singer of all times. We hope you had an exciting time!
In addition to birthday discos in Pärnu and Tartu where, Tanel and Gerli Padar rocked (instead), we also held a big party in Tallinn in Sossi klubi. It was the first time we could be together with our many present and past colleagues, cooperators and, of course, Estonian musicians. No doubt, it would be great when big audiences would be able to participate in this event but unfortunately this is just not physically possible. Maybe we should hold a real “song festival” in the summer for this :-)

The first that come to mind are for instance Nele-Liis Vaiksoo, Kaire Vilgats, Tanja Mihhailova, Vello Orumets, Heli Vahing, Susan Lilleväli, Rolf Roosalu, Ester Tuiksoo, Mati Raidma and many more. It was a great party!
10 wonderful years have passed. Or as the song goes, “10 years as just one moment… “ :-) We hope that there are many beautiful years ahead!
