Record result in the Czech Republic

Communicorp stations have achieved their best ever listenership result in the Czech Republic.
The official Radioprojekt listenership results for Quarter 2, 2006, shows an increase in the combined Weekly Reach from the eleven Communicorp stations, up from 1,471,000 to 1,535,000.
Communicorp General Manager Andrew Dower said the result was a credit to the hard work and consistently high standards of broadcasting from the programming teams directed by Martin Hroch and Martin Rigler.
Mr. Dower noted that the Weekly Reach result was a 4% increase over the Quarter 1 figure, and a more than 50% increase over the result for the same Quarter 2 period in 2005.
Communicorp now has the numbers 1, 2 and 3 local stations in Prague on Weekly Reach – Country Radio, Radio Beat and Kiss 98 – and Kiss Hady remains the number one local station on Weekly Reach in Brno.
