New station for Communicorp in Czech Republic

Communicorp today announced the acquisition of Radio Twist in Prague.
Twist broadcasts at 96.2 on the FM band, with a potential listening audience in excess of 1.5 million people.
Communicorp General Manager for the Czech Republic Andrew Dower said the new station gives Communicorp 5 stations in Prague, and a total of 12 stations across the country broadcasting through 37 frequencies.
The existing station networks program from Slovakia, but will be relaunched with a locally-produced program from January 1, 2007, and renamed Radio Spin.
With Radio Twist Communicorp now has 36 stations broadcasting in 7 countries across Europe.
