JNLR Results show Significant Growth across all Communicorp Stations

The latest Joint National Listenership Report (JNLR) released today for the period October ’13 to September ‘14, has once again shown growth across every Communicorp station including;  Newstalk 106-108fm, TodayFM, 98FM, Spin1038, Spin South West and TXFM.*

Newstalk 106-108fm now reaches a record 376,000 listeners daily and 672,000 listeners per week.  With Pat Kenny now in the station just over a year it’s apparent that thousands have moved the dial.  His show boasts 143,000 listeners every day.  Newstalk ‘Breakfast’, hosted by Ivan Yates and Chris Donoghue, has 153,000 listeners daily – an increase of 32,000 listeners year on year.

The latest figures for Today FM show listenership growth at an impressive two year high of 884,000 each week, an increase of 15,000 since the last book. Ray D’Arcy continues to dominate mid mornings against his competitors, with over 220,000 listeners tuning in to his 3 hour show.

SPIN103 had a great year with continued growth.  Spin Hits with Steve K being the highlight this JNLR with his show reaching 83,000 listeners and is now the No.1 Drive Time Show in Dublin.  98FM also grew its weekly reach in Dublin attracting 22% more listeners than this time year.
