Patrick HalpennyPatrick Halpenny is Chief Executive Officer and Director of Communicorp Group Limited. Mr. Halpenny completed the Group’s acquisition of 17 Radio Stations from Metromedia International in 2004. He has been involved in many successful licence applications and the launch of two radio stations into the Dublin market. Mr.Halpenny is a director of many other companies including Metro Radio International Limited, Radio Investments SRO, Maypril Limited t/a Spin 103.8 FM, Ireland’s Communication and Advertising Network and Irish Radio and Media Holdings Limited. Before joining Communicorp Group in 1997, Mr.Halpenny was Operations and Finance Manager with Continental AG in Ireland and prior to that was Group Financial Controller of WR Jacob plc. Mr.Halpenny holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University College Dublin and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA) and a member of the Institute of Taxation (AITI) in Ireland. |
