Patrick Halpenny is Chief Executive Officer and Director of Communicorp Group Limited.
Patrick completed the Group’s acquisition of EMAP’s Radio assets in Ireland and the European radio assets from Metromedia International. He has been involved in many successful licence applications and the launch of radio stations into the Irish market.
Patrick is a director of many other companies including Metro Radio International Limited, Radio Investments SRO, Radio Ireland Limited t/a Today FM, Newstalk 106-108 FM, Maypril Limited t/a Spin 103.8 FM, Ireland’s Communication and Advertising Network and ICAN.
Before joining Communicorp Group in 1997, Patrick was Operations and Finance Manager with Continental AG in Ireland and prior to that was Group Financial Controller of WR Jacob plc.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University College Dublin and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA) and a member of the Institute of Taxation (AITI) in Ireland.
